LIVE BLOG: 40mm+ falls over parts of coastal South Australia as the Rain Event continues to unfold across Southeastern Australia.

Port Lincoln, SA-The Rain Event has hit parts of SA with over 40mm+ falling since 9am Tuesday Morning in Point Avoid, Cape Borda and Neptune Island SA. While Adelaide has seen rainfalls of around 6mm. Despite this a ROAD WEATHER ALERT was issued as bands of rains from a developing complex low pressure system continues to develop in the bight and south of Kangaroo Island. Since then the ROAD WEATHER ALERT has been cancelled and was issued as HEAVY RAIN after a very dry start one of the driest starts for Adelaide would contribute to dangerous driving conditions on Tuesday Night.

    1. Hi Vanessa, Do you mean 50mm? As I just had a look at the totals and can only come up with 5mm or 50mm as a justified result. As 5M=5000mm and they would be under water if that occurred. Please let me know by clarifying this and Thanks for reporting this to us.
